Certain Scandinavian countries have either suspended use of the Moderna COVID-19 jab or are discouraging the use of it, due to what they feel is an increased risk of heart inflammation as a side effect in young people.
Sweden suspended it for anyone under 30; Denmark simply isn’t offering it to anyone under 18. Finland announced it was “pausing” the Moderna shot for young men born in 1991 and later, but would still offer the Pfizer jab to anyone age 12 and older.
Norway also is recommending the Pfizer shot over Moderna’s.
