Prestigious medical journal brushes off vaccine trial member’s injuries

By Dr. Mercola

A woman who was severely injured in AstraZenca’s (AZ) COVID-19 clinical trials wrote a letter to the prestigious New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM), saying AZ not only was ignoring her pleas for help, but had failed to report her injuries in their clinical reports.

Because of this, Brianne Dressen asked if NEJM planned to issue a correction to an article it published claiming the AZ vaccine “was safe and efficacious.” Dressen’s letter was sent straight to the top at the NEJM, to editor Dr. Eric Rubin — and Rubin summarily dismissed it, responding that the journal didn’t have space for her correspondence.

Rubin also served on the FDA’s Vaccine and Related Biological Products Advisory board meeting, in which he voted that the COVID vaccine should be given to 5- to 11-year-olds.

Rubin’s concerns for vaccine injuries for the children were just as dismissive: He was the doctor who commented, “We are never going to learn how safe this vaccine is unless we start giving it.”
