Nurse apologizes for “euthanatizing” Covid patients

In a Facebook video, a South Carolina nurse of 18 years shares his experience working with Covid patients.

Key quotes:

  • “I never saw anybody get better… with Remdesivir at $3,000 a dose.”
  • “I was asking all my buddies who had Covid, ‘What were your symptoms? How’d you feel? How’d you get over it?’ One of them looked pretty darn good except for one and he was an old smoker. He refused the ventilator, got better and got out of there in a week.”
  • “We had no flu patients last year.”
  • “Follow the money, this is what this is all about.”
  • “We as nurses and doctors with protocols have not been doing our best. We’re not doing any HCQ or Ivermectin….it was never ordered.”
  • “They all got on Zosyn and Vancomycin for bacterial pneumonia. That’s all I saw. And I just saw them languish and get worse and worse and lay in the bed and not talk to their family until their lungs were so (eaten) up with interstitial lung disease they had no functioning lung tissue, they (couldn’t) exchange oxygen. Even though the Covid test was negative. Even though the white (blood) count was perfect. Even though they had no more bacterial pneumonia. They had no working lung anymore. So we would give them comfort care and an iPad so they could say goodbye to their family while nurses like me would come in and give them lethal doses of morphine and Ativan, cranking it up until they quit breathing. And I have to live with that. And I want you to know I’m sorry… I didn’t know until January 20 what I was doing was euthanatizing your grandparents and your uncles and your aunts, for nothing, except a bunch of money.”
