Military Commander Says Mandatory Vaccinations Are a Security Threat

By Dr. Mercola, September 5, 2021

Requiring all personnel to be vaccinated by mid-September compromises national security, according to a memo written by Navy Cmdr J.H. Furman. His reasoning was that the “unknown extent of serious vaccine complications” poses issues that could cripple the military’s security, he said.

According to WND, Furman explained that mandatory vaccination of the military is not needed because:

  • The average member of the U.S. military is young and in excellent physical fitness, two categories that are nearly immune to the dangers of COVID.
  • So far, only 24 people out of 2.2 million military personnel have died of COVID-19, a rate of less than one per 91,000.
  • There is reason to believe severe or even fatal side-effects from existing COVID-19 vaccines are more common than reported and could even prove deadlier to otherwise-healthy servicemen than COVID-19.
  • Currently, the U.S. military has proven completely capable of weathering COVID-19 without any loss of effectiveness.
